Modern Chuppah Design

Not all chuppahs are created equal.

A chuppah is a canopy, traditionally used in Jewish weddings. It consists of a cloth or sheet supported by four poles, and it symbolizes the new home that the couple will build together. It is open on all four sides to invite the community to share in the joy of the wedding. In Hebrew, chuppah means, "that which covers or floats."

Any web search for “chuppah” or “chuppah rental” on the internet undoubtedly results in a very long list of web pages with very little variety - until now.

I have reinvented the traditional form of the chuppah and have given it a modern interpretation. This artisan chuppah is a free standing metal frame with a floating canopy made out of a fabric of your choice.

What makes this chuppah even more special is that you can have the metal chuppah poles made into furniture for your home. Take the spirit of recycling to the next level and transform your chuppah into a beautiful piece of modern furniture. What better way is there to integrate the symbolism of the chuppah and its ancient tradition into the tapestry of your everyday life?

While you’re here, you can browse my extensive line of modern furniture. Custom pieces are also available in a wide variety of sizes, shapes and colors.

Give me a call or send me an email. I’ll tell you where you can rent this chuppah, and we can talk about how to make your wedding day something very special together.

If you would like to read more about the chuppah on the beach, click on the press release here.
